Quote requests
When you request quotes, we keep what you typed (your part description, quantity, dates, ZIP code, email and company). A drawing you attach is emailed to our team inbox and isn't stored on the site. We send your request only to the shops it goes to, up to five, and we tell you which ones. If you ask for an NDA first, shops get the description before the drawing. We don't sell or share your details with anyone else.
Shops on Kerfgrid
Shop profiles are built from public sources: the open Overture Maps place data and each shop's own website. When a shop contacts us to fix, claim or remove a listing, we keep the message and the sender's name and email to handle it. A shop can ask us to remove its listing at any time; it is taken down within 2 business days and stays off.
Visiting the site
Pages don't set advertising or tracking cookies. Our host, Cloudflare, processes the technical data any website receives, such as your IP address, to serve and protect the site. When you send a form, we keep your IP address for up to an hour to limit abuse, and store a one-way hash of it with your request. Our emails are sent through Resend.
